STARMAN (PRODUCTION DESIGN)

STARMAN is A short film, shot on location over six days. The story is about Wyatt Star, a man struggling to live a normal life after his daredevil career, who sacrifices everything in an attempt at a record-setting motorcycle jump.

Conceptually, I wanted a lot of visual and physical barriers that were in one sense warnings about the wreckage he was making of his life and in another sense required Wyatt to decide to continue to push towards his dream.

The color palette was muted throughout until Wyatt is facing the ramp - when he feels most alive.

STARMAN HAD A SUCCESSFUL FESTIVAL RUN IN 2015, SCREENING AROUND THE US AND INTERNATIONALLY.
